Reconfiguration Guide
Your Toshiba Computer comes configured with software pre-installed on the hard drive. In the event you need to reinstall your software, the following information can be used as a guideline to reconfigure your computer. However, the demonstration files originally installed will not be reinstalled.
Locate Your Master Diskettes
To reconfigure your computer you must have created installation diskettes for the software pre-installed on the hard drive. If you did not previously create the installation diskettes, you can try to create them now. The Master Disk Creator program creates the installation disks by transferring files, called images, from your hard drive to diskettes. This process requires over 20 diskettes. See your Reference Manual for detailed instructions.
If you wish, you can purchase the diskettes instead of creating them by using the order form provided in your system documentation or by calling (800) 276-3238.
Install MS-DOS
1Insert the MS-DOS Install diskette, Disk 1, into the diskette drive and turn the computer on. If the computer is already on, you must reboot. To reboot, press and hold the Ctrl + Alt + Del keys and release simultaneously.
