Summary: | Reconfiguration Guide for T2150CD Series |
Date: | September 12, 1995 |
Product: | T2150CD Series |
Additional Information: | None |
Your T2150CD Series computer comes with a number of programs pre-installed on the hard disk. This guide describes the steps to follow if you ever need to reinstall one or more of these programs.
To reconfigure your computer, you'll need master program files for all the programs that came pre-installed on your computer. You can create master program diskettes using Master Disk Creator, or purchase master program files from Toshiba on diskette or CD-ROM.
To reconfigure your computer using master program diskettes, complete the steps in "Format the Hard Disk," "Install MS-DOS," and "Install the Toshiba Companion Programs," then refer to "Reconfiguring Using Diskettes" on page 5 for reconfiguration instructions.
To reconfigure your computer using the master program CD-ROM, complete the steps in "Format the Hard Disk," "Install MS-DOS," and "Install the Toshiba Companion Programs," then refer to "Reconfiguring Using the CD-ROM" on page 18 for reconfiguration instructions.
If you do not have the master program files on diskette or CD-ROM, use one of the following methods to start Master Disk Creator now:
¨Choose the Master Disk Creator icon in the Toshiba Utilities program group, OR
¨At the system prompt, type c:\img\mdc and press Enter.
Refer to the "T2150CD Series User's Guide" that came with your computer for more information about using Master Disk Creator to create master program diskettes.
If you cannot get Master Disk Creator to run, or would prefer to purchase the program files on diskette or CD-ROM, contact the Diskette Fulfillment Center at 800-276-3238.
WARNING:Formatting erases all the files on the hard disk. Follow the instructions in this section only if you're doing a complete reinstallation process.
