When working with the mambo board one may receive the following error message 266. This may be caused by several different reasons. The first is that there is no memory exclusion at D000-D2FF. The second could be caused by the modification of the AVK.INI. If this is the case then copy the AVK.INI in the \MAMBO\BIN sub-directory to the Windows sub-directory. If this does not work compare the AVK.INI to the AVK.INI below. The asterisk (*) lines are some of the lines changed by either other software installed or the installation of the hardware diagnostic disk that comes with the mambo board. Toshiba Product Support does not recommend running this disk. If you should have any of the following symptoms :
1) Display shows Green, white, and blue vertical lines when running an AVS or AVI file and locks up.
2) Diagonal lines when running AVI files or AVS files.
3) Background screen goes light blue or green.
4) No image displays when an AVS or AVI file.
If any of the above occur then check the following:
1) Make sure there are no jumpers installed on the Mambo board. If jumpers are installed remove them.
2) Check to see if data cables running from the system board to the mambo board are connected properly. Look for bad connections and bent pins.
3) You may possibly have a bad data cable.
4) You may have a bad ISA slot. Try installing the card in the other slot.
5) You may have a bad ISA interface board (Backpanel Board).
6) You may have a bad Mambo Board.
7) Cold boot the system, do not warm boot when modifying any files.
