Summary: | Allowable Bad Pixels on TFT Display |
Date: | September 29, 1995 |
Product: | All Toshiba Computers with a TFT Active Matrix Display |
Problem / Issue: | Non-Conforming Pixels |
Solution: | See Below |
Additional Information: | None |
Due to the extremely high number of transistors in the color LCD, you may see a few non-conforming pixels. These appear as tiny dots on the screen. The quality inspection that Toshiba performs limits the number of acceptable non-conforming pixels to a total of 25 or less.
If, after continuous use, a large number of newly non-conforming pixels appears, a problem may exist. If this occurs, contact your Toshiba dealer for assistance.
