The Noteworthy 28.8Kbps XJACK® modem is an important communication tool for busy mobile professionals. Business information is transmitted using the industry standard for speed and error-free throughput.

Featured on the modem is the patented XJACK® connector, which is rugged and easily connects to a standard RJ11 telephone cord, eliminating the need to carry an extra modem cable. The Noteworthy modem reliably sends data at 28,800bps with up to 115,200bps error-free throughput. Faxes are sent and receive at 14,4000bps.

The Noteworthy 28.8Kbps modem complies with the V.34 standard and offers the following benefits:

- V.8 handshaking process minimizes the connection negotiation time

- Line probing feature establishes the link at the fastest possible rate

- Incremental fall back feature allows the modem to slow down in small increments when

a noisy line is encountered, allowing the fastest overall speed

FaxWorks Data data and fax communications software accompanies every Noteworthy modem. Documents can be faxed directly from Windows.
