The Noteworthy 28.8Kbps XJACK® modem is an important communication tool for busy mobile professionals. Business information is transmitted using the industry standard for speed and error-free throughput.
Featured on the modem is the patented XJACK® connector, which is rugged and easily connects to a standard RJ11 telephone cord, eliminating the need to carry an extra modem cable. The Noteworthy modem reliably sends data at 28,800bps with up to 115,200bps error-free throughput. Faxes are sent and receive at 14,4000bps.
The Noteworthy 28.8Kbps modem complies with the V.34 standard and offers the following benefits:
- V.8 handshaking process minimizes the connection negotiation time
- Line probing feature establishes the link at the fastest possible rate
- Incremental fall back feature allows the modem to slow down in small increments when
a noisy line is encountered, allowing the fastest overall speed
FaxWorks Data data and fax communications software accompanies every Noteworthy modem. Documents can be faxed directly from Windows.
The Noteworthy modem is designed for notebook computers with PCMCIA Type II, Type III, or Toshiba 16mm slot. The Noteworthy 28.8Kbps XJACK® Modem is the smart communications solution for mobile professionals
